This week, the Five of Pentacles appears reversed, asking us to reflect on our year, and find gratitude for our achievements, challenges and lessons.
As the end of 2022 draws nearer, it is common to feel torn between angst and achievement. Endings are points of transition, where we shift from one energetic reality to the next. And after the trying times of 2020 and 2021, so many of us had high hopes for 2022. In reflecting on this year, some of us will feel proud of all we've achieved, remembering the journey of manifestation that formed our dreams into our reality. Others will feel angst and failure around not accomplishing what they'd resolved to create, and all that is still left to do. The number 5 represents a fork in the road, a point of choice, where we get to decide how we wish to proceed. The Five of Pentacles reversed asks us to stop for some intentional reflection, to look around at the gifts and lessons we've experienced this year. So as this year comes to a close, ask yourself, what are you grateful for? What are your achievements for 2022? What were your challenges? And what are your lessons? Even if you've experienced hardship, or struggle to name your achievements, you can always find reverence for your perserverence, and gratitude for your strength. By taking time to reflect on what you have, rather than focusing on what you lack, you'll open your vortex to receive new inspiration, and create space for all that you envision for the upcoming year.
